Can you use natural clay to replace or a sulfate shampoo for a deep cleanse to get rid of build-up?

Usually, completely natural detergent like clay or soap nuts is not strong enough to remove silicones. However, regarding clay, this type of mask can be helpful to remove other type of mineral build up so it can still serve your hair as a gentle clarifying treatment.
You can first apply your clay mask and then follow up with a gentle shampoo. As clay can be drying, we'd recommend doing a strong sulfate shampoo separately to avoid over stripping the oils on your hair and scalp.
