Can natural products cause build-up on the hair? If so, how can you remove it?

Yes they can. How you remove it does depend on the ingredient that has built up on the strand. However, if you are unsure of what has caused this issue, a sulphate shampoo should be able to remove most types of build up on the hair due to the strength of the surfactant.
