I have fine, high-porosity hair that easily gets weighed down with conditioners. Do I really need to use them?

As you have high-porosity hair, you definitely benefit from using a conditioner. You can use a lighter one that won't weigh down your hair as much or even just use a small amount of a heavier one.
Sometimes it can help to leave the conditioner in your hair a little longer as well. This can give you hair more of a chance to absorb some of the product, making it a little easier to wash out.
Therefore experiment a little with:
- different amounts of conditioner
- different types of conditioner (heavy/ light)
- leaving the conditioner in for differing amounts of time.
