For low-porosity hair, should I only be using humectants in my pre-shampoo? Or can I also use oils?

You can certainly make use of oils that are suitable for low-porosity! Whilst sealing oils typically make us think of a "sealant", they are also great for protecting your hair from the water. Jojoba and Sea Buckthorn Oils are on the lighter side whilst Amla and Babassu oils are a bit heavier.
You can experiment to see which oils suit your preferences, and can even try blending a humectant and oil together!
