Yes, theoretically you can use reetha powder in place of coco-glucoside within DIY formulations as both of these ingredients are surfactants. However, as this recipe hasn't been tested with this alternate formulation, we cannot offer which ratios to use or predict what the results may be.
If you do try this, there are a couple of things to be aware of:
- Reetha powder is a powder, whereas coco-glucoside is more of a 'liquid'. Therefore each ingredient will make the formulation have a different consistency.
- While experimenting, only make very small amounts of the formulation so you can test it out and tweak it without wasting lots of ingredients if it goes wrong.
- Always patch test each version of the formulation you try before use to check for any reactions or irritations!
