What is the best type of dryer for fine, dense curly hair? Is a ceramic dryer, with an Ion option good to use?

As you have hair that takes extremely long to dry, you will want to look for something suitable for a 'VERY LONG' drying time!
Ceramic dryers and the Dyson dryer are suitable for any hair, and Ionic dryers are suitable for a sleek and straight finish/ thick and frizzy hair (see drying guide); therefore, it probably is just a choice of how much you are willing to spend and what benefits you want!
The Ceramic blow dryer has fewer benefits but is also cheaper. The Dyson one has many extra benefits but is super pricey!
Perhaps also look into the Panasonic Nanoe dryers as they will help dry your hair faster (which is great as you have a super long drying time), won't over-dry your hair, suit any hair type, and the price sits in between the Ceramic price range and Dyson price range!
