Can I still use a humectant detangler in humid climates/during summer?

When using any humectants in your routine, be it a pre-poo, detangler, conditioner, hair mask or sealant ingredients, you should always check the humidity levels where you live. For humectants to work the best in your hair, the humidity levels should ideally be between 30-60%.
However, as a detangler is something you wash out quite quickly, you may find that you can still use this without too much trouble. However, this will depend on how extreme your humidity levels are, how long it takes to detangle your hair and how porous your hair is. Usually, the negative effects of humectants that happen in extremely humid or dry conditions are generally a result of those that are left in your hair (i.e. conditioner, masks, sealant).
