Low-porosity hair can absorb moisture, it just has a more difficult time doing so. Utilizing low-porosity oils in your conditioning products will be extremely beneficial to you. You can also try using moisturizing masks (these typically penetrate low-porosity hair better) and wrapping your hair in a lightweight towel or cap after applying conditioner. This will create indirect heat that helps the conditioner penetrate your strands!
