Are silicones okay to be used on babies? Is there an age range deemed safe for usage?

While we are continuously monitoring research on these topics, generally babies and young children won't need any silicones in their products. As of now, we aren't aware of any long-term studies that prove or disprove the safety of silicones, which does leave a residual risk.
So to be safe we recommend generally avoiding silicones for your baby's routine as in general he/she won't need it and we can't 100% rule out risks as there are not enough research on the topic yet.
