The olive oil in Shampoo A was too heavy for my hair, so I swapped it for the sweet almond oil. However, this new formula is making my hair get so tangled! How can I fix this?

Because it’s pretty much impossible to come up with a universal shampoo recipe that will work perfectly for everyone (since we all have our own Unique Hair Profiles!), it’s expected that some students may have to experiment a bit with this.
In order to accurately determine which oil would be best for your hair, you need to figure out your hair's porosity. When conducting the Hair Porosity Test, be sure to use clean, dry and unconditioned strands for the most accurate results. If you have high-porosity hair then Argan Oil would be a great choice. If you have low-porosity hair then you can try use Meadowfoam Seed, Buckthorn, or Squalane.
Also, bear in mind that you can always reduce the overall amount of oil used in the recipe as well!
