It is likely that your hair profile doesn't suit the Olive Oil that is used within the formulation. There are two ways you can rectify this:
- Firstly, you can switch out the oil to something lighter and more scalp friendly. For example, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil or even Squalane which is super light!
- Secondly, you can reduce the amount of oil in the formulation to see if that helps to give you better results. You can further tweak the amount of oil up or down until you find the amount that works best for you!
As this shampoo is very natural and quite basic, it isn't the most hydrating. Therefore, you should also follow this shampoo up with a conditioner to help rehydrate the hair after washing!
