I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp. Does this mean it is a dry scalp or a dandruff scalp?

Because seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff tend to overlap, you'll want to follow the regimens and formulations for a dandruff scalp. Be sure to avoid recommendations for dry scalps as the ingredients in these will only exacerbate your SD symptoms! Students with seborrheic dermatitis or dandruff benefit from MCT oil, squalane or mineral oil in their formulations!
