If my product contains fragrance, should I still discard it even if it has no other Blacklisted ingredients?

Ideally, products with no Blacklisted ingredients are the safest, however, these can be extremely difficult to find. The majority of products on the market contain fragrance and/or parfum, so we encourage our students to look for products with these listed near the bottom of the ingredients list. Products containing fragrance and/or parfum at the top of the ingredients list have very high concentrations of these ingredients and should be avoided.
It is also important to note that certain fragrances, such as essential oils, are considered safe when used in proper amounts.
