Protein treatments help to fill-in the gaps of our hair's damaged structure.
When your hair needs protein it will look dry, brittle, dull, broken and if your hair is curly, the locks will be less 'bouncy'. What is tricky is that hair lacking moisture and hair lacking proteins both look more or less like this.
As it is harmful to do a protein treatment on hair that don't need it, we strongly recommend FIRST trying a deep moisturizing treatment to see if it helps. If after the moisture treatment your hair still looks dry and brittle, then it means you can go on for a protein treatment.
Start with a light protein treatment to see if it seems to improve your hair before going full on with a professional strong one. Make sure you watch the 2 lessons on the topic before performing any treatments.
