It's time to debunk a hair myth. The fact is that our hair grows from the scalp and not from the ends. Unlike plants, hair strands are made of "dead material." Once the hair is pushed out of the scalp, it cannot repair itself and will just remain in place, gradually becoming damaged by external factors. This is why trimming split ends is crucial, as it prevents small damage from spreading irreversibly along the strand. However, cutting the ends will not impact the quality of hair growth since it originates from the scalp.
